The beach of As Sinas, in Vilanova de Arousa, was the site of a clean-up day organized by Amicos and Pan do Mar.
Twenty-five volunteers — including environmental agents, association staff, and collaborators — joined this initiative focused on awareness and direct action.
Thanks to their collective effort, a total of 76 kg of waste was collected along the coast. Among the items were plastics, glass, paper, and even nearly 200 cigarette butts. The participants sorted and weighed the waste to highlight the variety and origin of the pollution reaching our beaches.
At Pan do Mar, we express our sincere thanks to each volunteer and to the Amicos team. This collaboration shows that the unity between companies, organizations, and citizens is essential to protecting our seas.
